![]() We shall now load balance the iron plates so that we have a 30/30 split of iron plates for the assemblers. These three constructors will produce iron plates. We shall now place the last three constructors in-front of the three free smelters, I’ve made sure my constructors are running parallel to the rod constructors but this is not necessary. All constructors will merge using mk1 belts, however, you will need a Mk2 belt between the mergers and also following on to the assemblers, which we shall cover shortly. Now connect these together with Mk1 belts.Īlso place mergers flowing to the right, in front of the second and third constructors. You will now place three constructors each one in front of the splitters and the third constructor to the right of the second constructor. In-front of the second constructor, place a merger flowing to the right of the grid, then immediately to the left and right of this merger, place splitters flowing to the right. These constructors should be manufacturing iron rods. You can connect the smelter, splitter, and constructors up using the Mk1 belts. Then directly in front of the splitter in column one place a constructor, then place a constructor to the right of our first constructor. place a splitter in-front of the first smelter. First, we shall place the five constructors that create the screws. These should all be set to smelting iron ingots at 100% clock-speed.įor this build, we will need a total of eight constructors. This smelter should span the sixth and seventh column. Next, place a smelter in-front of the three splitters and then place the fourth smelter in line with the others. We shall then place two more splitters in the centre between the fourth and fifth, and the fifth and sixth column. First place a splitter flowing to the right in the centre of column one. We shall need to place four smelters in total for this build. This translates to a full Mk2 conveyor, which can be achieved with a single Mk1 miner on a pure iron node, or two Mk1 miners on normal nodes. This factory will require a total of 120 iron ore per minute. If you're questioning the efficiency of a manifold then I recommend checking out my video comparing load balancers to manifolds. Reinforced Iron Plates Super-Efficient Build Guideįor this factory we will require the following:įor this factory, we will be using an 8x7 grid and we will make use of the manifold system. Screenshots will go along throughout the process and for further help, I've attached a timelapse video guide below. The intention behind this layout is to allow you to easily produce 10 reinforced iron plates per minute running a clean and relatively compact factory. This guide will show you how to build a clean and compact reinforced iron plate factory in Satisfactory. ![]() Check out the discord for a full roadmap, and channel for adding your own suggestions.Reinforced Iron Plates Super-Efficient Build Layout.Full RGB colour choice for personalisation and accessibility.Inclusion of verticality via use of multiple floors, which you can switch between. The tool is constantly growing, here are some elements that will hopefully make it into future releases: For any bug reporting or suggestions, feel free to join the SaLT discord. The tool is completely free, however I'm incredibly thankful for any donations made :) The primary development target is the standalone Windows version, so it may be more stable and up to date during development. You can use SaLT in the Itch.io web player above by using "Run Tool", or get the standalone Windows version by hitting the download button. Various colour options are available in the settings to cater for colour-blindness and style preferences which are saved between sessions. You have the ability to drag and drop all of the various buildings from Satisfactory and connect them via conveyors and pipes using a simple line-node based system. Importing a design is just as simple paste the text and hit the Import button. At any stage you can export your designs into a text format that can be shared via a simple copy/paste to Discord, e-mail, or other. Using the tool you can experiment with different designs to create an efficient and aesthetically pleasing factory or make a mess, your call. SaLT (Satisfactory Layout Tool) is a simple program to be used in conjunction with the Coffee Stain Studios game Satisfactory to assist in planning and layouts.
